How to use
This tool calculates your body fat percentage using the U.S. Navy circumference method. 1. Select your measurement system using the Imperial/Metric toggle buttons 2. Choose your gender using the Male/Female buttons (females get an additional hip measurement field) 3. Enter your measurements by typing in each field: - Height and weight - Waist circumference (measure at narrowest point) - Neck circumference (measure below Adam's apple) - Hip circumference (females only, measure at widest point) 4. Click "Calculate Body Fat" to see results The calculator will display: - Your body fat percentage as a large number - A fitness category (Essential Fat, Athletic, Fitness, Average, or Above Average) - Fat mass and lean mass breakdown All input fields accept decimal values for precise measurements. The calculator automatically converts between measurement systems and applies gender-specific formulas for accurate results.
