How to use
This tool creates PNG thumbnail images from video files. Here's how to use it: 1. **Load a video**: Choose either "Video from file" (upload from your device) or "Video from URL" (paste a direct video link) 2. **Navigate to desired frame**: - Use standard video controls (play/pause/scrub) - Use precision buttons: skip to start/end, jump by minutes/seconds/frames - Drag the timeline slider for quick navigation 3. **Capture thumbnail**: - Adjust "Snap width" to set output image size - Click "Snap photo" to capture the current frame - OR use "Auto snap each" to generate multiple thumbnails at intervals (every few seconds or percentage of video length) 4. **Save image**: Click the save button under the generated thumbnail to download as PNG **Controls**: - Mouse: Click buttons, drag slider, use standard video controls - The precision frame buttons (+1fr/-1fr) let you move one frame at a time for exact timing **Note**: YouTube/Vimeo URLs aren't supported - only direct video file URLs work.
