WebGL Wind
A mesmerizing wind particle visualization on a world map, powered by WebGL. Watch millions of particles flow with real wind data.
How to use
This is a real-time wind visualization tool that displays animated wind patterns using flowing particles on a map. • The visualization runs automatically when loaded - no action needed to start • Watch colorful particles flow across the screen to show wind direction and speed • Particle density, speed, and color indicate wind intensity in different areas • Use the control panel (if visible) to adjust visualization settings: - Particle count and size - Animation speed - Color schemes - Fade rate of particle trails • Drag to pan around the map if interaction is enabled • Zoom in/out using mouse wheel or pinch gestures on mobile • Different colors represent varying wind speeds - typically blue for calm, green to yellow for moderate, red for strong winds • Particles automatically regenerate and flow continuously based on real wind data • The visualization updates in real-time at up to 60 frames per second for smooth animation
